Hungerford 458 well pad (ESX09-117-0068) located in Jackson Twp., Tioga Co. on 7/28/2016 @ 1145 hours. An adequate site ID sign was observed at the entrance to the access road. The site was last inspected by company personnel on 7/16/2016. A yellow jackets nest was attached to the E&S plan packet when it was removed from the mailbox. An onsite well tender was notified of the bee’s nest.
The site appears to currently be in production. A single well was observed on the pad surface. Some fluid was observed in the secondary containment surround the produced water tanks; the fluid had a field measured conductivity of 178 µS/cm. Cat-tails were present in the RLD surrounding the pad indicating water is ponding and not draining from the ditch.
