2197229 | Primary Facility | 2013-07-30 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | There has been quite a few holes patched in the New Pig Liner. The patchwork is done by GDS. The solids control process invloves the use of rig shakers, drying shakers and centrifuge in order to separate solids and liquids in the drill cuttings with mud. The drill cuttings are deposited into into open top containers and mixed with sawdust for additional drying in preparation for landfill disposal. The fluid in the cuttings drops into a through under the shakers and is pumped to centrifuges to pull out more solids. During water based mud drilling a ploymer is injected to let the solids come together; basically used for flocculation purposes. The polymer is added to a poly tank and is eventually pumped through a centrifuge as the centrifuge is seperating solids and liquids in the drill cuttings. The fluid from the seperation process goes to the drilling pit also known as the active return system. A request for approval of Alternative Waste Management Practice (OG-71) needs to be submitted to the Department for this process. |

2480859 | Primary Facility | 2016-05-04 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | At time of inspection, arrived on site at 10:50 a.m., the cellar was about half full of water with no bubbling noticed, the (13x9) vent pipe was open and venting to a tank, the (9x5) vent pipe was open and venting to a tank, there was 628psi on the production casing. I took a walk around the location and everything looked OK.
I left the site at 11:30 a.m. |
2813419 | Primary Facility | 2018-12-11 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | I performed a RTNC inspection of the Molnar well site. The weather was about 31 degrees Fahrenheit under sunny skies. There was a bit of snow here and there and the ground was frozen.
The access road was long but well kept. The road was solid and stable, as was the pad surface. The pad was built on a stone base, and the cut slopes reflected this, being mostly rock. There was vegetation however it was relatively sparse, as the area was mostly stone, with little soil to support growth. The fill slope was well vegetated with raspberry and other perennials. The well pad appeared to be free of erosional issues at the time of inspection. The wells were properly labeled, and there were no violations noted. |
