The weather conditions were cloudy skies and breezy with temperatures around 50 degrees. There was no activity or personnel at the site during the inspection. There are a total of (5) wells in production at the site. Due to the discovery of elevated conductivity readings in the water in the production fluid tanks containment structure and compromised containment liner integrity, the Department collected a sample of the water in the containment and a sample of water in a puddle of water outside of the containment as a background sample. The PADEP Bureau of Laboratories Standard Analysis Code SAC 046, surface water, will be used for sample analysis. See photos. The elevated conductivity readings indicate the potential of a spill of production fluid mixed with rainwater in the containment along with a potential impact to the pad surface beneath the containment for the tanks due to the tear in the liner.
