Temporary BMPs installed according to plan (both 12in and 18in compost soxs) and functioning. Noted ¿stressed¿ vegetation alongside and surrounding sediment traps. It appears as possible evidence that sediment traps are not properly functioning and/or water is improperly draining to traps. Although no (active) accelerated erosion or sedimentation issues are noted during this inspection, due to recent heavy rains, it is recommend that operator examine and monitor sediment traps and areas surrounding to ensure that proper drainage is occurring in order to prevent a possible pollution event. Noted red staining at toe slope of pad, again previously attributed to decomposition of mulch/tress. Accompanied by WQS Marc Maestra during inspection.
