Hoopes #12 well, API#105-21378, in Ulysses Twp., Potter Co. on 8/11/2016. The weather was 80° sun/passing clouds, humidity: 78%, and winds 4 mph WSW. The site was located in a farm field and appeared to be well vegetated. A polytank was observed adjacent to the well. A sign was affixed to the production equipment identifying the well; however a visible well tag was not observed on the well head. As per Section 3211(h) 58 Pa. C.S. §3201-3274 (relating to the Development) (“2012 Oil and Gas Act”) Labeling.--The well operator shall install the permit number issued by the department in a legible, visible and permanent manner on the well upon completion. No violations are noted at this time. Please contact me with any questions. |
