Spoke with a landowner, did not know there was a well drilled but said he knew there was a large hole where the approximate well location is plotted. Went out to this area in a wooded area and found what looked like a ~6x6' wooded well cellar with debris in it. There was a strong sulfur-like smell coming from this area. No casings found. No gas detected with an Altair 5x gas meter. The well did not appear to be a major concern a this time. Log is on file, TD @ 1384', No reference to plugging. |
