| 2727302 | Primary Facility | 2018-05-07 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of this deep vertical well was conducted May 7th, 2018. At the time of inspection, the well has an approximately 8" casing with an 8"x2" swedge. A valve on top of the swedge is open and to a newer analog pressure gauge which showed ~135 PSI. Gas is leaking up the backside of the casing. The well was transferred last month to an unconventional well operator who intends to reenter the well for plugging. |
| 2728599 | Primary Facility | 2018-05-09 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of this deep vertical well was conducted May 9th, 2018. At the time of inspection, the well has an approximately 8" casing with an 8"x2" swedge. A valve on top of the swedge is open and to a newer analog pressure gauge which showed ~150 PSI. Gas is leaking up the backside of the casing. The well was transferred last month to an unconventional well operator who intends to reenter the well for plugging. |
| 2732064 | Primary Facility | 2018-05-18 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of this deep vertical well was conducted May 21, 2018. At the time of inspection, no one was on location. The 8 5/8" casing had a 9 5/8" pup joint with a casing head welded on the collar and a BOP on top of the casing head. An accumulator was hooked up to the BOP. The cellar was full of water with no bubbling observed where gas was previously detected at ground level before the cellar was built. |
| 2732201 | Primary Facility | 2018-05-21 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | A routine (plugging) inspection of this deep vertical well was conducted May 21, 2018. At the time of inspection, a workover rig is on location for plug and abandonment. I met with the Companyman to discuss operations on the pad. The well was killed with water, reportedly not drinking any significant amount of fluid. They are running in the hole with 7 7/8" bit, at a depth of ~4100', and have yet to tag anything. I discussed tentative plugging procedure with the Companyman. No obvious major issues were observed. |
| 2733663 | Primary Facility | 2018-05-23 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | A rig is on location for plug and abandonment. Retainer was set at 6777' in preparation to squeeze cement below it, but could not sting in due to junk in hole. Schlumberger was on location to pump cement, sacrificed retainer and used it as bridge plug, pumped slurry back to 6100'. The rig pulled 28 stands, reverse circulated, and shut down. They will tag tomorrow and pump remaining cement and gel plugs. No obvious major issues were observed. |
| 2741049 | Primary Facility | 2018-06-07 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of this plugged deep legacy well was conducted June 7, 2018. The well has recently been replugged by Alta. At the time of inspection, the rig is off location following P&A. The operator has erected a 2" candy cane vent with marker as a plugged well monument. There was no visible or audible venting observed at the vent, and no gas was detected with an Altair 5x gas meter. The area surrounding the vent had standing water and no bubbling was observed. No obvious issues were observed. |
| 2753377 | Primary Facility | 2018-07-13 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Routine Inspection; 7/13/2018.
At the time of the inspection, the well was plugged and the temporary well pad remains installed. The pad is planned to be restored later this year after nearby wells are completed and producing. Overall, the site is in good condition. No violations noted. |
| 2757078 | Primary Facility | 2018-07-26 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of a plugged and recently re-plugged legacy well was conducted July 27, 2018. At the time of inspection; well is now shut in at a valve on the 2" candy cane vent pipe monument. The area surrounding the monument and well casing was flooded with water. No obvious major issues were observed at this time. |
| 2765810 | Primary Facility | 2018-08-16 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of a plugged and recently re-plugged legacy well was conducted August 16, 2018. At the time of inspection; well is now shut in at a valve on the 2" candy cane vent pipe monument. The area surrounding the monument and well casing was flooded with water. No bubbling was observed. No obvious major issues were observed at this time. The operator who re-plugged the well intends to remove the vent and bury the plugged well below grade at the request of the landowner. |
| 2778357 | Primary Facility | 2018-09-21 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | I stopped by this location for a routine inspection of this plugged and replugged legacy well on September 21, 2018. A crew was actively reclaiming the pad. I spoke briefly with a companyman on the edge of location to discuss the task at hand. The vent pipe well monument has been removed and the plugged well has been cut below grade with the marker plate affixed to it. There was reportedly no gas observed upon opening the valve on the vent pipe before cut and burial. No obvious major issues were observed. |
| 2784436 | Primary Facility | 2018-10-04 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of this recently replugged legacy well was conducted October 4, 2018. The 2" candy cane vent been removed and the well has been marked and buried below ground level. There was standing water at the well location; no bubbling. There were no open holes, discharges, or obvious issues observed. |
| 2834354 | Primary Facility | 2019-01-31 | Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) | No Violations Noted | A routine, follow-up, (re)plugging inspection of this recently re-plugged legacy well was conducted January 31, 2019. The plugged well has been cut below grade, marked, and buried.
At the time of inspection, the location was snow covered. I walked to the buried well location. The snow was clean; no evidence of discharge was observed. No open holes, venting, irregularities, or other obvious issues were observed at this time. |
