2568615	Primary Facility	2017-02-27	Routine/Complete Inspection	No Violations Noted	Inspection of the Phillip Stoft (069-20002) Abandoned gas well in Newton Twp., Lackawanna County was conducted February 27, 2017 at 10:52 am. The well is just East of Cherry Hill road near a driveway (coordinates in PA Gas Mapping incorrectly show the well on the West side of the road.) At the time of inspection; the well had a top joint of 7” csg made up to a 7”x 2” casing swedge, master valve, 2” vent pipe on the mastervalve sticking straight up in the air about 10’ high. Planning to return with ladder for re-inspection for presence of gas. No gas detected outside the 7”. Everything visible above ground level is very rusted. There was no audible gas and no immediate concern. Well record is on file.
