Department contacted operator rep Stan Berdell by phone from site to inquire about dripping brine tank piping. Mr. Berdell stated well tender will be contacted immediately and follow up with Department. 10:40: Mr. Berdell contacted Department by phone. Mr. Berdell stated that well tender will fix brine tank pipe today. Department recommends operator follow up with Department regarding type of fluid released and amount of fluid released. 10:54: Operator rep Paul Kimmell contacted department by phone. Mr. Kimmell stated well tender will be on site within 30 minutes and will follow up with Department. Violation being issued for operator release of production fluids. A follow up inspection will be conducted at a later date. |

Operator rep Paul Kimmell contacted department by phone at 17:49 on 1-3-18 and left message. Message stated well tender Randy McCoy was on site and unable to determine where release was occurring. Also, that the line used to empty brine tank had a dug out area under it that may have been caused by deer. Some fluid in this area may have dripped at one point and attracted the deer. No dripping was seen by Mr. McCoy. Mr. Kimmell also stated in his message that well tender records indicate no loss of fluid from the tanks. Mr. Kimmell offered to schedule a field visit with well tender and Department to ensure operator is addressing Department's concerns.
