2444546 Primary Facility 2016-01-07 Administrative/File Review No Violations Noted

On 01/07/16 at approximately 0830 hours I conducted an administrative inspection in response to a request for restoration extension submitted by ECA.

Drilling activities for the last well (#2) were completed on 12/10/13 according to Department records. The 9 month date for restoration was 09/10/2014. The request for restoration extension was received on 10/09/2015. A violation of Section 3216(c) of Chapter 32 of Act 13 has occurred for failure to restore the site within 9 months of completion of drilling a well.

The extension request is being denied.

2688259 Primary Facility 2018-01-04 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted The Act 9 sign was in place. The site was snow covered and vegetative cover could not be inspected. Multiple brine tank valves appeared to be leaking. It is recommended the brine tanks be inspected to insure a release is not occurring.
