2848270 | Primary Facility | 2019-03-05 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Tuesday March 5, 2019 I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the Argent Unit 2 Conventional Vertical Gas Well Site located in Center Township, Greene County.
Access to the gas well is through the well pad where the Watson 2H, 3H and 4H oil wells are located. The access to the well, beyond the oil well pad, and the pad area were observed to be in good condition. At the time of inspection, the ground was covered with a thin coating of snow. Uniform vegetative growth was observed through the thin snow cover. The production tank appeared to be in sound condition. No secondary containment is utilized in association with the production tank. Although the operator is compliant with current regulations, they should consider using secondary containment constructed with impermeable materials. A release of fluid from the tank can result in a violation being issued to the operator. The gas well and associated infrastructure appeared to be in good condition and functioning properly.
