On 09/09/16 I conducted a complaint inspection of the Benninger 22 well site. The complainant alleged that the brine tank is corroded. The well was appropriately labeled. The equipment at the site and appeared to be in functional condition, but it is recommended that the equipment be addressed to prevent corrosion. The tank at the Atlas Benninger 22 well exhibited corrosion and holes high up on the tank. After discussions with Atlas, they are going to close the tank valves, but leave the tank in place for emergency use only. |
