Lencer that a crude oil release had occurred at ARG Resources' 115 Lamont well pad (API 047-21044). At the time of this inspection, the spill had not been reported by ARG. On 11/1/17 at 0936 hrs., I inspected the well pad. The area of the release had been bladed to remove impacted surface soil. Some residual crude oil remained on vegetation adjacent to the release area. In addition to the release, there were rods and tubing on the well pad that are not needed for production. This constitutes a violation of OGA 3216(c). The unreported release constitutes violations of 91.33(a), 78.66(a), CSL402(b), SWMA 301, and 78.54. Violations of 91.33(a) and 78.66(a) have been immediately resolved as "unresolvable". It is estimated that the volume of crude oil and brine released is between 1-3 barrels. 2808766 Primary Facility 2018-11-30 Administrative/File Review No Violations Noted The Department received and approved the Remedial Action Completion Report associated with the release documented in inspection ID #2655471, in accordance with the Alternative Remediation Process. The violations associated with inspection ID #2655471 will be resolved once conditions allow for site restoration to be evaluated. There are no additional violations noted for this inspection.
2819475 Primary Facility 2018-12-21 Compliance Evaluation No Violations Noted On 12/21/18 at 0907 hrs. I conducted a compliance evaluation inspection (CEI) of ARG Resources, Inc.'s Lamont 300 AC 115 well ( API 047-21044) in Highland Twp., Elk Co. On 11/27/18, the Department approved a Remedial Action Completion Report for a release occurring at the well site on 10/31/17, which is documented in inspection ID # 2655471. Upon inspection of the site, the impacted soil has been removed and the release area has been temporarily stabilized with seed and mulch. All equipment not needed for production has been removed from the site. This CEI closes out violation ID numbers 801055, 801056, 801057, and 801060 from inspection ID # 2655471. There are no additional violations noted for this inspection.
