1980913 Primary Facility 2011-06-15 Routine/Complete Inspection Violation(s) Noted Upon inspection today i found the production equipment apparently had either a leak or overtoped the capacity and dumped a large volume of oil and bring into the dike area. The oil appeared as htough it had been in the dike for several days if not weeks. Some mimimal effort had been made tro clean it up. The well pump jack is on a timer. the production equipmetn comnsisted of a two steel stock tanks and one poly tank with a separator. The well had an active prodcution chart in place. I called the operator and required them to remove all the comtaminated stone and dirt, then call me for an inspection before replacing the stone. I will send a NOV.dirt.
1981635 Primary Facility 2011-06-16 Follow-up Inspection Violation(s) & Outstanding Violations Today's inspection was in follow-up to my 6/15 inspection to determine if the operator had taken steps to clean-up the oil spill. Upon inspection I found that the operator had placed spill abosorbent material in the oil/water laying inside the dike. On 6/16 I contacted the production Manager Dave Rice and explained we required the stone and contaminated soil be removal and that I must inspect the soil before reinstalling the stone.
