2735735 Primary Facility 2018-05-25 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted A routine inspection of this conventional well was conducted May 25, 2018. The purpose of this inspection was to investigate a complaint in which the complainant noted an odor of gas along with audible movement of fluid near the facility. The well is located in a remote area of state land, on a lease road off of Dehauss road. At the time of inspection, the operating well has 4 1/2" casing, swedge, and a master valve. The well was open to production and shut-in at a line out to a brine tank. The annulus is below ground. No leaks or obvious issues were observed at the well location. Walking away from the well, there was a faint smell of gas. I followed the smell to a pipeline riser about 60' away from the well. There were no visible or audible leaks observed. Low levels of gas were detected with an Altair 5x gas meter at ground level near the base of the riser downstream of the check valve. I contacted the operator to tell them my findings. The operator has personnel in the area and will investigate.
