Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2629994 Primary Facility 2017-08-29 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On August 29, 2017 WQS Brian MacQuarrie onsite at unconventional well site. Construction underway. Act 9 sign installed at site entrance. Erosion and Sedimentation plan, Emergency Response plan, Pollution Prevention Contingency plan and Well permits inside site mailbox. Erosion and Sedimentation best management practices installed including perimeter compost filter sock, sediment traps, diversion channels and interceptor channels. Majority of site stabilized with seed and mulch with vegetative growth emerging. No apparent E/S issues.
2633917 Primary Facility 2017-09-08 Preoperation Inspection No Violations Noted On September 8, 2017, WQS Brian MacQuarrie onsite at unconventional well site. Meet with Nathaniel Smiell-Range Resources for the purpose of conducting a pre-operation inspection as per Act 13 Section 3258, prior to commencement of drilling operations. The well site has been constructed according to Erosion and Sedimentation plan and all Best Management Practices are installed. Disturbed areas have been stabilized with seed and mulch and vegetation is continuing to be established.

As a result of today's inspection, commencement of drilling activities is approved.

2640403 Primary Facility 2017-09-27 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Ransom Drilling LLC is setting 40' of 26" conductor casing in a 30" hole.
2649772 Primary Facility 2017-10-19 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Decker Drilling 8 is setting up over the 1H well and will begin drilling later in the day.
2652117 Primary Facility 2017-10-25 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Decker 8 ran and cemented to surface 1,360' of 95/8" casing. They then drilled to 4,550' which is the top hole TD.
2668352 Primary Facility 2017-12-07 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Site had been constructed as outlined in the E&S plan contained within the ESCGP. All site and access road erosion controls had been implemented and properly maintained. There was no observed accelerated erosion or sedimentation in relation to the site or access road. All disturbed areas had been stabilized with vegetation attaining 70% uniform vegetative cover. Site identification sign was located at the access road entrance. Drilling had commenced but was not ongoing at the time of the inspection.
2730527 Primary Facility 2018-05-16 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Well drilled but not completed or equipped for production. No observation of accelerated erosion or sedimentation on the well pad or access road.
2796797 Primary Facility 2018-10-31 Follow-up Inspection In Compliance with Policy Follow up inspection related to a reportable release of oil based drilling mud to the well pad on 10/25/2018. The Operator reported 25 gallons of OBM spilled to the well pad and clean up was underway. At the time of inspection the Operator was drilling the 5H 003-20504. The rig was placed on secondary containment. The Operator indicated that the 5 inch wrapped Kelley hose attached to the top drive slip, which resulted in approximately 1 barrel of OBM to be released to containment and approximately 25 gallons of OBM to be sprayed to the well pad below the drill rid. At the time of inspection the impacted material appeared to be visually removed from the well pad. Some residual OBM was visible on the drill rig. The Operator is in compliance with the current spill policy.
