Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1877320 Primary Facility 2010-04-14 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Drilling was ongoing at the time of the inspection. Noted that only one of the constructed below grade pits was in use, and that it had more than the required two feet of lined freeboard. Noted that the unlined back-up pit was approximately half full with freshwater and it too also had the required two feet of freeboard. Noted that at the far corner of the site the silt fence had been compromised allowing runoff to flow underneath the fence, however a vegetative strip prevented any further transport of sediment. Contact operator representative Dan Rice regarding this matter and he stated that he will have it addressed within the next day.

Well properly tagged. Site had been regraded, and vegetation was noted underneath the snow. The operator should evaluate the site during the spring of 2011 to insure that the vegetative cover is continuing to grow and for any erosion issues that may have developed over the winter and early spring before the vegetative cover had reached the 70% uniform coverage criteria.
