Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1808434 Primary Facility 2009-06-19 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Drill rig was located onsite at the time of the inspection, however drilling was not ongoing. Below grade pit had more than the two feet of required freeboard. Observed no accelerated erosion & sedimentation in relation to the access road or well-site. It was noted that the filter fabric fence implemented onsite as an erosion control BMP had not been implemented properly. Specifically the bottom of the fence had been laid on the ground folded under and soil was placed on top of the mflap. The filter fabric fence will not function properly in minimizing accelerated erosion & sedimentation when installed in this manner.

Brine tank located onsite and appeared to be in sound condition. Observed no accelerated erosion & sedimentation in relation to the site or access road. Noted that the vegetative cover did not meet the 70% uniform coverage criteria. The Department recommends that the operator scarify the site, and implement additional seed, fertilizer, and mulch.
