1902427 Primary Facility 2010-06-24 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On June 24th, 2010 I conducted a routine inspection of the above site. Drilling was completed October 30th, 2002. The well was in production. The access road was in good condition. A well tag was present. the site was well vegetated and no accelerated erosion was observed. There was a lot of excess drilling supplies being stored onsite including drill rods, casing, gas line, drums, etc. There was also a diked area containing 6 storage tanks, 3 oil and 3 brine. The containment area was lined with a 30 mil plastic liner. There was 6-10 inches of oil and water inside the diked area from spillage and sloppy materials handling. Another storage tank located outside of the diked area that contained white water. A meeting was set for 6/28 with the operator to discuss the issues on site.
1902437 Primary Facility 2010-06-28 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On June 28th, 2010 I met with Huntley & Huntley representative John Hodson onsite to discuss the issues from the 06/24/2010 inspection. The operator agreed to have all excess material removed from site. All liquids will be removed from the diked area and put back into tanks or disposed of properly. The tank that was located outside of the dike was now in a lined containment area surrounded by a dike. A tracking program/ sign in sheet was being implemented to create accountability for the site and to prevent future materials handling problems.
1910858 Primary Facility 2010-08-12 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On August 12th, 2010 I conducted a follow up inspection of the above site. Excess rain water from the diked area was being pumped into the tanks. A stone walkway was constructed around the tanks in the dike. Vegetation was coming in nicely on the newly seeded areas. The operator should continue to inspect and monitor materials handling at the site.
