Inspection Data

INSPECTION ID DATE DESCRIPTION COMMENT VIOLATION ID VIOLATION CODE VIOLATION COMMENT
1281703487 2010-08-05 Rusty with Atlas America called and reported a flowline leak south of the wellhead that has impacted approximately 800' of an unnamed streambed. OEPA-DERR was also notified and Bart Raye responded. Atlas estimated 5 to 10 bbl of oil/brine were lost. Atlas responded with personnel, sorbent materials and a minihoe. A vac truck was enroute. Crude oil congregated in three main areas in the stream and Atlas planned to recover this product with either the vac truck or with sorbent materials. Several booms were placed downstream and a siphon dam was placed in the stream. Future planned remediation includes washing the stream with hot water and recovering the product with the vac truck.
1418442942 2010-08-17 The affected creek bed has been remediated and the siphon dams and booms have been removed. The violation is corrected.
-1746848672 2010-08-09 A majority of the cleanup has been completed. The impacted soil has been removed to Atlas' Deerfield yard and the heaviest concentrations of oil have been recovered. Sorbent booms and pads will continue to be changed as necessary and the siphon dam will remain in place.
