Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0226906254 2018-08-08 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I found the Monroe Drilling RD20 rig tripping back in the hole with a 6.25 inch diameter bit, at a depth of approximately 700 feet. They will commence drilling out the cement, within the 7 inch diameter surface casing, and continue with the production borehole. The projected total depth of the well is unknown on this day.
0358750233 2018-09-06 Completion Testing No Violations On this day, I am conducting an inspection to document a phone conversation with Jim Williams of Gas Enterprise on 09/04/2018 at 4:40 pm. Mr. Williams indicated that he is preparing for the completion process of the well. The well is currently capped, and the pit is open with standing fluid. Mr. Williams also indicated that the fluid will be removed and disposed of properly, and the pit will be closed, prior to completion. At the time of the phone call, he anticipates using Producers to complete the well, and flow-back will be into frac tanks. The 6.25 inch diameter production borehole was drilled to a total depth of 3,000 feet and the 4.5 inch diameter production casing was set at a depth of 2,987 feet. I informed Mr. Williams to continually monitor all annular pressures throughout the process. Pictures were taken during the inspection.
0434257558 2018-07-26 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On this day, I am accompanied by ODNR Inspector Patrick Shreve to witness the 7 inch diameter surface casing cement job. Monroe Drilling used their RD20 rig to drill the 8.75 inch diameter borehole to a depth 1,260 feet, and then ran 1,200 feet of a mixed string of 7 inch diameter, 17 lb/ft and 20 lb/ft casing, utilizing 6 centralizers and a cement guide shoe. Formation Cementing is on location with a bulk truck and pump truck. They cemented the casing with 170 sacks of Class A cement with a weight of 14.7 pounds per gallon and a yield of 1.36. Good cement was witnessed at surface with 10 barrels of returns.
0678673118 2018-07-18 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site along with Tom Thomas to witness setting of conductor pipe and cementing of the same, Formation cementing mixed 70 sacks of Class A cement and they had 5 bbl. Returns and cement stayed up good.
0782778195 2019-05-06 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I am accompanied by James Williams of Gas Enterprise. I found the drilling pit to be closed and the area seeded with straw. No vegetation is currently established, and no substantial erosion is present. The well is not currently in production, and Mr. Williams stated that they anticipate having a completions crew in to frac the well sometime late summer/ early fall 2019. Identification is present at the wellhead.
1132239808 2018-10-16 Completion Testing No Violations On this day, I am conducting a follow-up inspection in regard to the completion process. There is currently no drilling or completion equipment onsite. The original drilling pit had been filled, but a smaller pit still remains open, which will need filled, as well. I attempted to contact Jim Williams, of Gas Enterprise, on 10/16/18 and left a voicemail requesting a callback. I received a callback on 10/18/18, and Mr. Williams indicated that the well will soon be perforated by JT Wireline, acidized, and produced naturally. He doesnt plan to frac the well until sometime in 2019.
1420256878 2018-07-26 Casing String Witnessed No Violations The inspection is conducted as an intermediate casing string placement. I accompanied inspector Tom Thomas. Monroe drilling drilled the well with an RD --inch casing. They ran a 7-inch guide shoe and six 7-inch centralizers. Formation Cementing ran 170 sacks of regular class A cement at 2 % gel. There was good circulation and had 10 barrels of slurry returns.
1739322623 2018-07-18 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On this day, I am accompanied by ODNR UIC Inspector Dave Ball. Monroe Drilling has the RD20 rig on the hole and drilled the 12.25 inch diameter borehole to a depth of 130 feet. Then, 9.625 inch diameter conductor casing was set to a depth of 117 feet. Formation Cementing is on location with a bulk truck and pump truck. They initially pumped 20 barrels of fresh water ahead of cement and established circulation. The casing was then cemented with 70 sacks of Class A cement with a 1.18 yield and 15.6 pounds per gallon, verified by scale. Good cement returns were witnessed at surface with 5 barrels of returns.
