2791272 | Primary Facility | 2018-10-02 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | I arrived at the site at 12:54. The weather conditions are mostly cloudy skies, warm and humid, light winds and temperatures in the lower 70's. Rain has recently ended. Shortly after I arrived a heavy rain shower commenced. Hydraulic fracturing (stimulation) is in progress. CHK submitted a stimulation notification to the Department on 9/27/18. The comments in the notification indicated CHK would be moving to the Earnshaw Pad (Earnshaw Wyo 1H) for frac operations with the estimated time frame between 11:00 AM on 9/28/18 and 12:00 PM on 9/30/18. I met with Greg Black, site company man, completions consultant of CHK. BJ Services, LLC is the CHK subcontractor conducting frac operations. Mr. Black stated the following pertaining to site activities. "BJ is on stage 10 of stage of 34 on the Earnshaw Wyo 1H well. Perforation of the production casing is in progress with wireline. Water and and some frac additives, mainly friction reducer are pumped into the well. Water from AST on the road nearby in Mehoopany |
