Noted that the operator states that the entire access road to the site will be rocked. It is recommended that the operator rock the well-pad so as to minimize the amount of sediment generated onsite. Noted the following deficiencies in the submitted E&S plan: 1) Due to the shallow depth to the seasonal high of the groundwater table, 6-18 inches,the operator will not be able to utilize any below grade pits. The operator should utilize above grade pits or tanks onsite to contain any fluids. 2) Due to the shallow depth to the seasonal high groundwater table, the operator will not be able to land-farm the drill cuttings. Therefore the operator will have to contain any drill cuttings generated and have them hauled off-site to a landfill. |
