1883221 | Primary Facility | 2010-05-05 | Drilling/Alteration | No Violations Noted | Met with Mark Howard of Boots and Coots. Currently have a pressure recorder on well. A RBP has been set at 6000' in the 4 1/2" casing. |
1883323 | Primary Facility | 2010-05-10 | Drilling/Alteration | No Violations Noted | Over weekend finished monitoring pressure on well. On Friday 5/7/10, had 0 psi on gauge on 7" x 4 1/2" annulus, and pressured up 4 1/2" casing with 1000 - 1200 psi to see what effect it would have on the annulus. Readingson the 7" x 41/2" annulus from 5/7 through 5/10/10 have shown a consistent increase from 0 psi to 407 psi. According to Cabot it may be due to possible leak in frac valve. At the moment rigging up STONE rig over well and installing BOP's. Wireline on site. 30' of sand will be inserted into the 4" casing above the RBP set at 6000'. |
1887842 | Primary Facility | 2010-05-27 | Follow-up Inspection | No Violations Noted | At the time of inspection there was no activity on site. The well has not been put back online yet. The 9 5/8" and 7" casings were exposed. The remaining portion of the cellar is filled with p-gravel. A soapy water mixture was poured around the well head to observe for any bubbling. No bubbling was observed during this inspection. After completing inspection, I visited the Cabot office, and requested that the top of conductor be exposed for inspection. At approximately 15:30, I met Bill Shreve from Cabot at the site, and his crew removed some the of the p-gravel from around the well head and exposed to top of conductor. In doing this, standing water was present around the outside of the conductor. Again, a soapy water mixture was introduced around the casings of the well to observe for bubbling. No bubbling was observed around the well head or outside the conductor in the cellar. DEP collected a video of the conditions of the wellhead at the time of this inspection. |

The conductor was exposed the previous day in order to inspect for any signs of gas expressions. Upon arrival, there was standing water present around the base of the wellhead. There was no bubbling observed. A soapy water mixture was introduced around the casings of the well to observe for bubbling. No bubbling was observed around the well head or outside the conductor in the cellar. DEP collected a video of the conditions of the wellhead at the time of this inspection. |
