I noticed a leaking well approximately 2 miles from this well location. The well is leaking brine and gas. The kill area is 30 feet by 25 feet. The leaking well is approximately 400 feet from a Columbia Gas storage well. I was accompanied by Columbia Gas field superintendent Terry Vansickle. I tested the brine and maxed out high range quantabs. Mr. Vansickle indicated Columbia Gas would want to plug the well as it is in close proximity to one of there storage wells. I have also sent the information about the leaking well to idle orphan inspector Lynn Parkins. |
