0154948244 2017-06-22 Plug / Plug Back No Violations Columbia Gas drilling rig has reached 250 feet. They have removed mud from the wellbore. After reaching 700 feet, new 7 inch casing will be run and cemented to surface. This will give them a secure base for the blow out preventer.
0707323980 2017-07-05 Plug / Plug Back No Violations Columbia gas has reached 1695 feet. They are cleaning out the well so it can be plugged. They are using 6.25 inch diameter bit drilling on fluid.
1254786199 2017-06-21 Plug / Plug Back No Violations Columbia has a plugging rig on site. They have rigged up and began to clean out the 7 inch diameter casing. I noticed a leaking well approximately 2 miles from this well location. The well is leaking brine and gas. The kill area is 30 feet by 25 feet. The leaking well is approximately 400 feet from a Columbia Gas storage well. I was accompanied by Columbia Gas field superintendent Terry Vansickle. I tested the brine and maxed out high range quantabs. Mr. Vansickle indicated Columbia Gas would want to plug the well as it is in close proximity to one of there storage wells. I have also sent the information about the leaking well to idle orphan inspector Lynn Parkins.
1497881209 2017-06-19 Plug / Plug Back No Violations I received a call from Trans Canada field manager Terry Vansickle. Mr. Vansickle informed me they would have a service rig on site today to begin the plugging operations for this well. The rig was not on site. I called Mr. Vansickle and he stated the rig broke down and would be repaired and on site 6-21-2017.
1498486998 2017-06-26 Plug / Plug Back No Violations Columbia Gas service rig has tripped out the drilling pipe. New 7 inch diameter casing has been delivered and ran to approximately 680 feet. Petroset Cementing will be on site at 1400 hours to cement the pipe to surface. This will give Columbia Gas a secure platform to attach their blow out preventer.
1499709028 2017-07-10 Plug / Plug Back No Violations Cement training with Jimmy Wiles. Columbia Gas was plugging the well. I did not witness the plugging activity today.
