0131830427 | 2013-07-30 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location at 5:45am to witness the cementing of the 4.5 production casing. Maric Rig #1 drilled a 7.875 hole to a total depth of 4865 (KB) and ran 109 joints of new, 10.5 lb/ft, 4.5 casing into the hole with a 10 pup and shoe on bottom and set at 4843 (KB). A latch down baffle was placed on top of the pup at 4833 (KB) and 5 centralizers were run on the casing string. Universal rigged up, began circulating the hole, mixed and pumped 32 barrels of cement slurry, dropped the plug, and displaced the plug with 76 barrels of water. The plug landed at 700psi and the pressure was increased to 1300psi and held for 3 minutes. The pressure was released and the plug held. No violations. |
0268730627 | 2013-08-19 | Completion Testing | No Violations | I arrived on location at the conclusion of fracturing activities on this well. Universal Well Services was rigging down and the wellhead was being rigged up for flow back. I spoke with Eric White (consultant) and he told me the job went as planned and there were no problems. The annulus between the 8.625 surface casing and 4.5 inch casing was open and showed no signs of pressure. No violations. |
0281634857 | 2013-07-23 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to inspect drilling operations of the Maric #1 rig. They were currently drilling a 7.875 hole on fluid at a depth of 2867. The rig is making about 15 ft/hr. The pits are in good condition and have plenty of freeboard. No violations. |
0313435295 | 2013-10-01 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of preliminary restoration. The entire location and edges of the lease road have been graded and seeded. The flow line trenches have been closed and repaired. All surface equipment has been freshly painted and the well is operating with an electric pumping unit. There was 180psi on the casing and 310psi on the tubing. The tank battery has been completed, is diked, and contains the surface equipment for this well and the Dearth #1 (PN# 21393). The battery contains 2-210 barrel stock tanks, a 100 barrel, and a 50 barrel poly tank. There is a horizontal and vertical separator in the battery. This well produces through the vertical unit. The proper ID is displayed at the well and the tank battery. Preliminary restoration is approved. No violations. |
0378675533 | 2013-07-20 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness the cementing of the 8.625 intermediate casing. Maric drilled an 11 intermediate hole to a depth of 561 and ran 504 of 8.625 casing with a 10 landing joint to a depth of 514. Universal rigged up, established circulation, and pumped 15 barrels of gel and 5 barrels of water ahead of the slurry. They then mixed and pumped 34 barrels of Type I cement and displaced the cement to 489 with 31 barrels of freshwater. 22 barrels of cement returned and held at the surface. See cement ticket for more details on this job. No violations. |
0383065604 | 2013-07-19 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on location to witness cementing of the surface casing. Maric drilled a 14.75 hole to a depth of 300 and ran 297 of 11.75 casing into the hole. Universal rigged up, established circulation, pumped gel and spacer, and then mixed and pumped 44 barrels of cement slurry. They released the plug and displaced the plug and cement to 277 with 34 barrels of freshwater. 20 barrels of good cement returned and held at the surface. See cement report for more details on this job. No violations. |
0663737732 | 2013-07-17 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to inspect the pits and rig up of Maric Drilling. I met with Ralph Beecher and inspected the rig. The pits were lined and filled with freshwater gel to drill the conductor and surface holes. Ralph told me the hole would be drilled on fluid to total depth because the location was too small for a blow pit. He asked if he could drill the hole without the blow out preventor and I told him it would be OK since they were drilling with fluid, in the woods, and in a non-urbanized area. They will spud the well in the morning. No violations. |
0740620150 | 2013-07-20 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to verify casing integrity prior to drilling the cement plug. Maric placed 300lbs on the casing and I monitored the Pason gauge for 30 minutes. After thirty minutes, the gauge read just under 300psi. Casing integrity has been verified and operations may continue. No violations |
1095293735 | 2013-08-02 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of the site after well completion on 7/30/13. All drilling equipment has been removed from location. The working and reserve pits are open and the liners are in good condition. Water is currently being removed and hauled from the pits. No violations. |
1124753962 | 2013-07-25 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the drilling status of Maric Rig #1. They were currently drilling ahead on fluid at a depth of 3617. The pits were in good condition and had plenty of freeboard. No violations. |
1222540642 | 2013-07-18 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | I was on location to check the drilling status of Maric Rig #1. They spudded the 14.75 surface hole this morning and were currently drilling on freshwater at a depth of 63. The pits were in good condition and have plenty of freeboard. No violations. |

1937815933 | 2013-09-05 | Surface Facility Construction | No Violations | I was on location to check the status of the site following completion operations. Canton Oil Well Services was on location and building the tank battery dike. The well will share a tank battery with a domestic well PN#21393. The battery contains 2-210 barrel stock tanks, 1-100 barrel, a 50 barrel poly, a horizontal separator, and a new vertical separator. The flow line has been placed in a trench and run from the tank battery back to the wellhead. A pumping unit has been installed at the wellhead and is diked. No violations. |
