1532699048 2018-07-27 Production Wells No Violations I inspected this well at the request of the landowner who is concerned about the state and appearance of the tank battery for this well which is located on his property and he said the man door is broken and would like it repaired to keep his nieces and nephews from entering the area.. He is also concerned about possible contamination as he said ha has noticed a sheen on water in the battery when it rains. My inspection found the tank battery fenced and the man door broken and is unable to be closed and locked without repairs. There is a perimeter of weeds and brush (4-5 high) growing around the battery and there are small trees and brush growing inside the battery. The battery contains one (1) 100 barrel tank, a 38 barrel poly tank, and a horizontal separator. The top of the poly tank has been crushed and is open. There are several pieces of three (3) inch hose and an old, 42 gallon drum inside the battery that need removed. The wellhead is fenced and the man door is also broken and un-securable. The wellhead is equipped with 1.5 rods and tubing and an electric powered pumping unit. There are two (2) domestic taps on the 4.5 production casing port. There are several small trees growing inside the fencing and one is growing up through the unit base. ID is posted at the wellhead and at the tank battery. I did not find any pollution or contamination issues during my inspection. I called Matt Kleese (J-Well) and asked him to remove the damaged poly tank, the unused line, and the 42 gallon drum. I also asked him to repair and secure both man doors with locks and to clean up and remove all of the weeds and trees that are over growing the surface equipment and fencing. Matt said he has already scheduled the removal of the poly tank and had his water truck driver empty it yesterday. He mentioned that there are issues with the landowner turning off the electric power to the pumping unit at the road and running off the pumpers. He said they should be working
