The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was performed as a routine inspection after recent hydraulic fracturing and flow-back operations on site.

The new Act 9 Site ID sign was in place and legible.

The access road was in good condition.

The well pad, and the site has been stabilized and is vegetated.

6 wells have been been drilled on the site and are being equipped for production.

3 wells are currently in production (1H, 2H, and 6H) and the 3 newly drilled and completed wells (3H, 4H and 5H) are having production equipment installed by the operator. The newly completed wells are going to be shut-in now that flow-back operations are completed. Well drilled to completion. Well equipped for production.

2574413 Primary Facility 2017-03-20 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 3/20/2017, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Old McDonald Farm well pad site. The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was performed as a routine inspection after a request from the operator for a restoration extension.

The new Act 9 Site ID sign was in place and legible.

The access road was in good condition.

The well pad, and the site has good vegetated cover.

The site restoration extension is granted till March 16, 2018 as requested by the operator.

6 wells have been drilled on site and are equipped for production.

2697037 Primary Facility 2018-02-15 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On February 15, 2018, the Department an inspection of the Range Resources Old McDonald well pad site. The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was a routine inspection of the site after a request by the operator for a restoration extension.

The Act 9 sign was in place and legible.

The access road and well pad are in good condition.

The site is has greater than 70% perennial vegetative cover.

6 wells have been drilled to completion on site and are equipped for production.

Given the condition of the site at time of inspection, the site restoration is granted until March 16, 2019.

2703942 Primary Facility 2018-02-27 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On February 27, 2018, the Department performed an inspection of the Range Resources Old McDonald well pad site. Present at time of inspection was Dennis Furmanek (Range). The site is located in Donegal Twp., Washington County. The inspection was a routine inspection of the site after a request by the operator for a minor modification to the ESCGP1 permit.

The Act 9 sign was in place and legible.

The access road and well pad are in good condition.

The site is has greater than 70% perennial vegetative cover.

6 wells have been drilled to completion on site and are equipped for production.

The operator has requested a minor modification to the ESCGP1 permit to slightly realign the access road entering the well pad and reduce the size of the restored well pad. The minor modification was reviewed by the Department in the field and approved. The minor modification was redlined on a plan for the restoration of the site.

2821508 Primary Facility 2019-01-02 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 1/2/2019 at approximately 10:45, I conducted a routine site inspection of the Old McDonald Farm well site located in Donegal Township, Washington County. The following was observed:
  • Act 9 sign located at the site entrance was in good condition.
  • All wells on site were marked and appeared in good condition.
  • GPUs appeared in good condition.
  • Production fluid/condensate tanks within secondary containment and appeared in good condition.
  • The site appeared stable with no signs of accelerated erosion.

No violations were observed during this inspection.
