Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2208098 Primary Facility 2013-09-26 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted
2264299 Primary Facility 2014-04-15 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Precision drilling for Range Resources using closed loop system and flare stack. Currently drilling ahead @ 6979ft. 83/4 open hole drilled to 5533. KOP @ 5650. Containment under rig and support equipment in good condition. BOP tested good at nipple up.
2335581 Primary Facility 2014-09-23 Incident- Response to Accident or Event In Compliance with Policy A small spill/release (~10 gallons) was reported to the DEP Hotline on 9/23/14 by the operator. A wet area was discovered and upon further investigation it was determined that the secondary containment around the upright reuse water storage/transfer tanks had leaked. The impacted gravel in the accessible areas was scraped up and a sump was dug adjacent to the tanks to collect any additional contaminated water. Per the operator, once the tanks and containment are able to be removed and additional contaminated soils/material will be excavated for proper disposal. The disposal documentation will be forwarded to the Department with a closure summary.
2335599 Primary Facility 2015-01-02 Administrative/File Review No Violations Noted An administrative review was conducted of the closure documents submitted by the operator for the 9/23/14 spill incident. The initial report was an estimated 10 gallon re-use water release from a leak within the secondary containment system holding the re-use water tanks. Subsequently, after the tanks and containment was removed, additional staining was found and more impacted gravel and soils were removed. A total of 43.38T of material was excavated and properly disposed of at a nearby landfill. As the staining was more extensive than initially found, the release was re-estimated to be ~ 30-40 gallons.
2352322 Primary Facility 2015-03-09 Site Restoration No Violations Noted
2354679 Primary Facility 2014-11-03 Administrative/File Review In Compliance with Policy A spill was reported by Range on 11/2/14 to the after hour DEP hotline. The fitting on a water truck valve sheared off during transfer to the production tank battery resulting in an ~150 gallon loss of production water to the pad. Weavertown environmental was contracted for clean-up. The affected medium will be excavated and properly disposed. Disposal documentation will be forwarded to the Department with a closure summary.
2354689 Primary Facility 2015-01-02 Administrative/File Review No Violations Noted An administrative review was performed of the closure documents provided by the operator for the 11/2/14 production water release. According to the summary, impacted gravel was excavated and placed into 3 roll-off containers. Field instrumentation was utilized to confirm all impacted material was removed. Only stone/limestone fines were removed, no impact to soils. The proper disposal documentation was included with the closure.
2354701 Primary Facility 2014-11-10 Administrative/File Review In Compliance with Policy An approximate 10 gallon release of production water was reported to the Department on 11/10/14. The valve on the PCC pot had been left slightly open allowing it to fill the transfer hose with produced water; when a truck went to transfer fliud the water in the hose was released to the pad. The impacted gravel was removed and will be properly disposed. A closure summary with disposal documentation will be sent to the Department.
2354718 Primary Facility 2015-01-02 Administrative/File Review No Violations Noted An administrative review was conducted of the closure documents submitted by the operator for the 11/10/14 release incident. Approximately 10 gallons of produced water was released to the pad during transfer operations. According to the closure summary, all visually affected material was placed into overpack drums for disposal. Included with the summary was the disposal documentation showing 2 drums of brine impacted gravel managed and disposed of through Weavertown Environmental Group.
2354755 Primary Facility 2015-01-13 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted A routine inspection was performed on 1/13/15. All appropriate records were found to be on-site. Proper Act 9 sign and well tags were noted. Access road and cross drains are in good condition. Cut and fill slopes appear to be stable and well vegetated. No erosion or accelerated sedimentation was observed.
2409277 Primary Facility 2015-05-19 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Well in production. Well in compliance.
2415916 Primary Facility 2015-10-15 Complaint Inspection No Violations Noted 6 wells drilled and equipped for production. Tags, tanks, e&s ok.
2514406 Primary Facility 2016-07-21 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Well drilled to completion. Well equipped for production.
2532755 Primary Facility 2016-10-20 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Well drilled to completion. Well equipped for production.
2535753 Primary Facility 2016-11-14 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Well drilled to completion and equiped for production.
