2636135 | Primary Facility | 2017-09-14 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | Injection well. Well was drilled in 1974 by Belmont Resources, Inc. and still registered to the same. A company representative from Catalyst Energy, who pumps the neighboring lease, called to inform me that while driving by this well he noticed it was spraying oil out of a relief valve on the injection system. He was able to stop the flow of oil with a small stick, and placed absorbent material on the pooled oil to contain it. Current ownership of well is unknown, as Belmont no longer operates. Will attempt to determine current ownership and follow up with appropriate violations as necessary. |
