An active water well is located within 50' of this well. Surface casing is open at wellhead valve. No visible gas venting. Well record indicates that the well was drilled in 1964. Surface casing was not cemented. Well is currently registered to Emil Larson, who according to landowner is deceased. Will conduct a deed search to determine possible ownership.
2692461 Primary Facility 2018-02-07 Complaint Inspection No Violations Noted Well drilled in 1964. Surface casing is not cemented. Well does not appear to have been operated for some time. Surface casing is open to atmosphere. No visible gas was observed venting. Possibility of broken in casing. An active water well,is located within 50' of this well. Complainant states that water well depth is approximately 70' to 80'. Conductor depth in oil well is 58'. Given the construction of the oil well and the depth of the water well, water supply contamination is possible. Oil well is currently registered to Emil Larson, who according to landowner is deceased. Will conduct deed search to verify possible ownership. Well will be submitted to orphaned/abandoned well program if ownership cannot be determined.
