2700120 | Primary Facility | 2018-03-01 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | A routine inspection of an orphan well was conducted March 1st, 2018. The focus of this inspection was to investigate site access for a potential plugging contract since the well has recently been added to the orphan plugging list. The well is in an area where access may be difficult. No significant changes were observed at the well location since the initial investigation. The well is discharging brine along with steady bubbling. The well is underwater, and at least part of a well casing was found during the initial investigation. During this investigation it was revealed the best way to access the well location may be to enter the field off Lambs Creek road, South of the beginning of a guardrail, then intercept an existing pathway that run along the ridge West of the floodplain where the well is located. |
