2849680 Primary Facility 2019-02-14 Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) No Violations Noted A routine investigation of this plugged well was conducted February 14, 2019. Inconsistencies regarding the well's records have prompted this investigation. The well is currently holds DEP Abandoned (plugging list) status, although Department records indicate the well was scheduled to be plugged in 2005 by PPL Gas Utilities. Additionally, the location of the well in the Department's database appeared inaccurate; no well was found at this location and the well's location plat on file clearly showed the well in another location. Historical aerial imagery from 2005, the time of plugging, shows a well pad was built at this location shown on the location plat.

At the time of investigation, no one was home at a nearby residence next to the suspect well location. I spoke with the homeowner at a video "iDoorbell" who confirmed the well plugging and location.

The well has been plugged and buried below grade at these approximate coordinates: 41.917395, -77.289690. Location has been updated in eFacts on 3/7/2019 fr
