1817523 Primary Facility 2009-07-30 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted At time of inspection I met with the Company Man Chester Phillips. The drilling contractor is Union with rig UDI-46.According to Company Man, the drilling contractor was in the process of testing the BOP system the previous day, and inserted the test plug upside down into an 11¿ 5000x 8-5/8 Slip on Wellhead (SOW). As a result, the plug became stuck and could not be retrieved. The contractor had to cut off the wellhead, and at the time of inspection was in the process of installing and testing the new SOW. Once installed, the BOP test will be completed.
1820611 Primary Facility 2009-08-13 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted At time of inspection I met with the Company Man Mike Taylor. The drilling contractor is Union Drilling with rig UDI-46. According to Mr. Taylor, depth of drilling was at 8055¿. Mr. Taylor indicated that they were in the process of washing out the hole with mud due to excess shale fragments being generated. Once cleaned out, drilling will resume to a TD of 8065¿. Mr. Taylor further stated that 4-1/2¿ production casing is scheduled to be set at approximately 8055¿.
1841249 Primary Facility 2009-10-02 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At time of inspection I met with Mark Goodwin, Completion Supervisor for EXCO. Mr. Goodwin indicated they were in the process of pulling tubing out of the well in order to change out the tools with a ¿jet pack¿. The jet pack will be used to remove the excessive water in the hole and hopefully increase the gas flow. The well was flowing back at a rate of 5 to 6 bbls/hr during inspection. All flowback water was being contained in frac tanks.
