2407776 Primary Facility 2015-09-16 Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) No Violations Noted Arrived @ 11:30, Weather was sunny and warm. Met with company man Jerry Jones. Site mobilization for this plugging began on 9/14/15. At the time of my inspection, Team workover rig and crew and Cased Hole Solutions truck and crew were onsite. Tubing had been pulled and a Cast Iron Bridge plug had been set @ 8152’ in the middle of a joint. The crew was mixing up 5-gallon buckets of NeoSlurry Class H cement (17 ppg). This was being poured down into the baler to form a 50’ plug. Discussed progress so far with Jones who noted that when the well bore was full of fluid and no gas had been encountered thus far. Discussed plans to cut casing tomorrow morning (9/17/15). Left location @ 12:20.
2407786 Primary Facility 2015-09-17 Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) No Violations Noted Arrived @ 09:10, Weather was sunny and warm. Met with company man Jerry Jones. At the time of my inspection, Team workover rig and crew, Cased Hole Solutions truck and crew, and Express staff were onsite. Casing had just been cut @ 3468’. Workers removed the well head, the rig speared into the casing and pulled. The casing came free on 180,000 lbs. Portable 5-1/2” casing tongs were rigged up handle the 5-1/2 casing (approximately 85 joints to pull). Cased Hole Solutions left the location. EXCO safety man Tom Livingstone arrived. Once the casing was free, it took 120,000 lbs to lift the second joint. Plan for the rest of the day was to pull casing, and run in tubing in preparation for setting cement plugs on Friday. Left location @ 11:30.
2408569 Primary Facility 2015-09-28 Plugging(Includes Plugged/Mined Through) No Violations Noted Arrived @ 13:25. Well has been plugged and the well head has been buried with a candy cane vent. Field monitoring with an Altair 5X gas meter calibrated on 9/28/15 failed to detect methane. It is worth noting that there were discolored patches in the fill material near the well head. Left location @ 13:45.
