Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2570304 Primary Facility 2017-03-10 Routine/Complete Inspection Viol(s) Noted & Immediately Corrected This is a producing combination well with an electric powered pump jack attached. This well was in operation at the time of inspection. It appears as though there has been a stuffing box failure, which allowed a mist of oil to be sprayed into the air around the wellhead. Some of the oil leaked straight down the well head and onto the ground. The total volume spilled was approximately two gallons. The well pumper for the operator was on site within a few minutes, and the well was shut off and cleanup was initiated. The operator will remove the gravel around the wellhead and clean the well and pump jack with rags to remove any product. This violation is immediately corrected.
