Permit showed start date and expiration date was the same (4-20-10). DEP called Permitting to re-issue the permit with correct expire date. Permit and well log present showing conductor pipe set at 39¿ (13 3/8¿). At the time, NE was drilling for the 9 5/8¿ which was going to be set at 420¿. Current depth was 375¿ and showed Stratigraphy of ss, sh and coal
1883055 Primary Facility 2010-05-07 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Well sign and E&S plan located at entrance way. E&S controls were implemented. Pit aligned with proper plastic liner and had no freeboard issues. Penn View contracted NE Energy to drill gas well. At the time of inspection, no E&S and IW issues at the site. Permit showed start date and expiration date was the same (4-20-10). Gas well completed and wellhead was capped with 8x4x2 plug.
1883256 Primary Facility 2010-05-10 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At the time of inspection well was drilled but not yet in production. Site Id sign and E&S plan were onsite. Pit appeared structurally sound with 2ft freeboard. Filter fabric fence was properly installed and functioning below grade of well pad. It is recommended that soil pile be seeded or install additional filter fence below pile in order to prevent possible erosion and sedimentation concerns. Access road was in stable condition. Noted operator plans to encapsulate drill cuttings.
1941861 Primary Facility 2011-01-10 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted At the time of inspection, well drilled, equipped, and in production. Well tag present. According to records, well completed 05/04/10. Brine tank sound. Access road stable. No accelerated erosion or sedimentation issues noted. Vegetative growth observed, area is snow covered so 70% uniform covered could not be confirmed. A follow up inspection in the spring will be conducted to ensure permanent restoration is sustained. In the spring, once final restoration is confirmed operator may remove all temporary bmp¿s. Accompanied by WQS Marc Maestra.
1975516 Primary Facility 2011-05-23 Site Restoration No Violations Noted At the time of inspection, well drilled and in production. Well tag present. Drilling completed 05/04/11. Well site adequately and uniformly restored with >70% vegetative growth. All temporary bmp¿s may be removed as permanent stabilization appears to have been achieved. No accelerated erosion/sedimentation or industrial waste issues noted. Brine tank appears structurally sound. Access road stable.
