2235225 2014-01-09 No Violations Noted On 1/9/2014, the Department conducted an inspection at Chevron Appalachia's Kirchner 2H well site in German Twp., Fayette County.

The Act 9 sign was in place at the access road entrance. The access road was in good shape.

The well was labeled. There are two Chevron tanks on site and are located inside containment. One tank is for the Kirchner 4 and one is for the Kirchner 2H. This site is also shared with an Atlas well which has two tanks within the same containment dike.

No leaks were observed today and the equipment and tanks looked to be in good shape.
