Consequently, water was alleged to be backing up on the upstream side causing flooding. The bridge was originally constructed as a wooden bridge, but metal reinforcements and a new surface added when the well was drilled in December of 2008.
Two no trespassing signs were posted at the bridge, since it still serves its original purpose of a driveway to a home. The complainant does not live at the home nor do they own the property. The conditions under the bridge did not meet those described by the complainant, but the location was confirmed. The bridge had rocks along the stream bank to prevent the bridge from washing out. The complainant informed me that they had not actually inspected the bridge, since they do not have a right to be on the property. While the rock appeared to slightly reduce the available volume for water to pass under the bridge, no signs of the bridge causing water to back up were observed. It is likely |
