Upon inspection we found the access road in good shape. The Rig was on-site and actively drilling. We found 2 pits holding fluids with approved liners.The 2' mimium freeboard was being maintained in the pits. the site was stable. A diversion dicth had been dug around the uphill perimeter, to carry spring seep water around the well pad site. the water in the dicth was clear and flowing out in the filed down slope from the well pad. The E&S Plan was not on-site as required. On 12/29/2010 I Meet with productaion manager for Kastle regarding other matters, and told him that this site did nto have an E&S Plan. He said he would get it on -site right away. |

I did find some erosion starting along the access road and off the north end of the site. I called Kevin Saffle, dirt contractor for Kastle to inform him of the concern and he said they would take care of it. No violations. |
