2516967 Primary Facility 2016-09-06 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Inspection of the Broda 1-AB (035-00060) abandoned gas well in East Keating Twp. Clinton County conducted September 6, 2016 at 2:20 pm. I found the well by driving down Vincent Drive, a very narrow road between the railroad and the river. After about 2 and a half miles on Vincent drive the road crosses over the railroad tracks and turns into a trail in the woods. Walk down the trail maybe 100-150 yards and the well is on your left. As soon as I got within 10’ from the well I could smell gas. The exact coordinates are 41.23008, -77.92168. No well tag. The well has (10”) surface and (8”) production casing, shut in. The annulus between the casings is left open. I detected 12% methane with an Altair 5x gas meter placed just above the annulus. This well is one of five known abandoned wells down Vincent drive. I didn’t see any of the others; the area is very overgrown and I plan to return in November when there’s less grown.
