2779149 Primary Facility 2018-09-24 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted A routine inspection of this abandoned well was conducted September 24, 2018. At the time of inspection, I met with a nearby resident who showed me the location of the well. The well is in the woods approximately 150' North of several residences on a driveway off Station road. All surface casing is below ground level in a somewhat collapsed well cellar full of debris. Production casing wing valve, master valve, and production valve can be seen at surface. The well is shut in and not tied into any production line. There were no pressure gauges on the well. Original well record on file shows 2540 PSI AF. The resident does not know when or if the well was ever turned into production; says the well is a nuisance and would like to see it plugged. I will likely be recommending the well to the orphan plugging list.
2781271 Primary Facility 2018-09-28 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted A routine inspection of this abandoned well was conducted September 28, 2018. At the time of inspection, production casing and surface casing (if ran) are below ground level and cannot be seen in a somewhat collapsed well cellar full of debris. Production casing wing valve, master valve, and production valve can be seen at surface. I checked the well cellar for combustible gas with an Altair 5x gas meter; none detected. I checked the immediate area next to the wellhead in the cellar below ground level; no gas detected. The well is shut in and not tied into any production line.
