At the time of the inspection, no E&S concerns and no freeboard at the pit were present at the site. Filter fence was located on down gradient side of site. Phillips was contracted by NTS. Conductor pipe (20¿ pipe) was set at 34 feet and was sanded in. No mine shaft or void was encountered. Mine casing (13 3/8¿ pipe) was set at 211 feet with no cement basket. 180 sacks of Type 1 were used to cement mine casing with 2 bbls returns. Plug was down at 10:15 am at 1/11/12. Universal completed the cementing of the well. Phillips was allowing the 8 hours cement set time. The anticipated depth of water protection casing (9 5/8¿) was set at 500 feet.
2034207 Primary Facility 2011-01-13 Drilling/Alteration No Violations Noted Well Id sign and E&S plan were present at access road. At the time of the inspection, no E&S concerns and no freeboard at the pit were present at the site. Filter fence was located on down gradient side of site. Phillips was contracted by NTS. Water protection casing (9 5/8¿) was set at 463 feet and was cemented with 160 sacks of Type I and 5 bbls of return. Plug was down at 07:30 at 1/12/12. Intermediate casing (7¿) was set at 968 feet and was cemented with 180 sacks of Type I and 7 bbls of return. Plug was down at 23:50 hours on 1/12/12. Phillips was preparing the BOP connection. Coal intervals were recorded at 90¿ to 94¿, 160¿ to 164¿, 285¿ to 292¿ and 305¿to 315¿ and 325¿ to 330¿.
