The well is open on top, but not leaking any gas or signs of oil. The well was added to the DEP's plugging fund. The well is just below a house, along the driveway. It has 8", 6", 4 7/8" casing in the well. There was a lot of corrosion.

At the time of inspection, field was stable.

2787736 Primary Facility 2018-10-09 Routine/Partial Inspection No Violations Noted This is an abandoned well that falls within the Vardy Storage field and was located northeast near the Dennis W Eyler #1 well. The well is open on top, but not leaking any gas or signs of oil. The well was added to the DEP's plugging fund. The well is just below a house, along the driveway. It has 8", 6", 4 7/8" casing in the well. There was a lot of corrosion.

At the time of inspection, field was injecting. Spoke to landowner about well and he said that he put a rubber plug on the top, which had a vent, for safety. He had taken some pressures on the well over the years and it once was 60 psi.
