The well is hooked up for production via a pump jack which was hooked up to electricity. There were also 2 small tanks hooked up. From the one tank was a pipe and valve with oil residue from there and downhill several feet. Also, wood chips had been put down around the base of the wellhead to capture the oil from pumping. Both of these issues should be taken care of by cleaning up the oil on the ground. Production has not been reported since 2009. The well was not labeled. Please label the well and use DEP's Greenport site to electronically file production data. |
