Erosion and Sedimentation best management practices installed including perimeter compost filter sock, sediment traps, diversion channels and interceptor channels. Majority of site stabilized with seed and mulch with vegetative growth emerging. No apparent E/S issues.
2633944 Primary Facility 2017-09-08 Preoperation Inspection No Violations Noted On September 8, 2017, WQS Brian MacQuarrie onsite at unconventional well site. Meet with Nathaniel Smiell-Range Resources for the purpose of conducting a pre-operation inspection as per Act 13 Section 3258, prior to commencement of drilling operations. The well site has been constructed according to Erosion and Sedimentation plan and all Best Management Practices are installed. Disturbed areas have been stabilized with seed and mulch and vegetation is continuing to be established.

As a result of today's inspection, commencement of drilling activities is approved.

All site and access road erosion controls had been implemented and properly maintained. There was no observed accelerated erosion or sedimentation in relation to the site or access road. All disturbed areas had been stabilized with vegetation attaining 70% uniform vegetative cover. Site identification sign was located at the access road entrance. Drilling had commenced but was not ongoing at the time of the inspection.
