The Department recommends that the operator close the below grade pit as soon as possible. Minimal erosion controls needed due to the location being in a well vegetated field. The Department recommends that the operator begin site reclamation as soon as well stimulation, if needed, is completed to minimize the potential for erosion issues to develop. In addition the operator should add clean durable rock to the access road after well stimulation activities to minimize the potential for sediment generation and transport into the waterway conveyed by the culvert. |
