Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
2440240 Primary Facility 2016-01-08 Routine/Complete Inspection In Compliance with Policy Well appeared to be equipped for production. Brine tank located onsite and there appeared to be a small weep coming from the bottom of the tank as you approach the well apparatus. WQS Higgins contacted the operator regarding this matter. There was no observed accelerated erosion or sedimentation in relation to the site or access road. At this time the Department is requesting that the operator submit follow-up documentation outlining what was found in relation to the visual observations indicating a leak from the brine tank.

Operator contacted WQS Greg Higgins after arriving onsite and evaluating the tank and affected area. Operator conveyed that all affected media had been excavated using a spade shovel placing the material into a sealed 5-gallon bucket. It was determined by the operator and corroborated by WQS Higgins that the volume leaked appeared ot be less than 5-gallons.
