Departmentt did not observe a monument onsite; therefore, it was assumed a buried plate was utilized. Departmentt did not observe accelerated erosion or sedimentation in relation to the site or access road. There was an area where the access road was previously located which was not temporarily stabilized. The remainder of the disturbed area had been seeded and mulched and vegetation had begun to grow before the end of the 2015 growing season. There were several areas of concern in relation to the access road the Department suggests that the operator implement the following to ensure that any storm water runoff is properly controlled and the potential for erosion of the reclaimed surface mine are minimized:
