0933760881 2016-05-02 Exempt Well Pre Transfer No Violations Performed exempt domestic well pre-transfer inspection at the request of Kathryn Smith on 05/02/2016. The tank battery consists of 3-100 bbl steel tanks and 1-vertical separator located within a earthen dike. All production equipment within the earthen dike is very rusty, and the area is very overgrown. The bottom of the front tank is failing around the valve, and a small puddle of crude oil has accumulated in the area (within the earthen dike). No well identification is posted at the tank battery. I was unable to access the wellhead, as the lease road crosses a stream with no access to cross, and due to recent rains, the water level within the creek was too high to safely cross. Attempted to contact the operator at the number listed in RBDMS to discuss these issues, however the number is no good. Will send the inspection to Kathryn Smith, and proceed as instructed. Exempt domestic well pre-transfer inspection does not pass at this time.
